• In highly loaded commercial commercial wet areas and kitchens. • On balconies and terraces prior to tiling. • In swimming pools, in combination with ceramic tile covering. • In residential wet areas & bathrooms • Schonox iFix adhesive is suitable on the following substrates; • Concrete (concrete above 35Mpa compressive strength requires mechanical preparation) • Masonry blockwork • Brickwork (fully grouted) • Existing tiles such as ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles (tiles require mechanical preparation prior to priming) • Cement Render • Cement Mortars Beds & Screeds including Eco Systems EcoScreed and EcoScreed Rapid concentrate • Pre-cast concrete (with mechanical preparation) • Fibre Cement Boards • Compressed Cement Boards • Gypsum Plaster Board • Light weight polystyrene boards coated with mortar • Cement Terazzo (with mechanical preparation) • Structural Plywood (non marine grade)
